Fly Ash Solidification

Hazardous wastes such as fly ash from incinerators should be solidified before being buried in soil. Materials used for wastes solidification include binders, cement, and fly ash from coal firing boilers.

The main equipment used for solidification is a mixer, batch or continuous type. Materials feeding into the mixer are weighed to control the proportions of individual components.
